The Background:

Develop a new business concept that leverages two cultural trends: immersive brand experiences and e-commerce shopping for Airbnb. Recommend 3 potential brands to approach as model partners who all share strategic commonality with Airbnb end-customers (booking guests).  

The Ask: 

Identify and illustrate a customer market that aligns with Airbnb and 3 external brands and provide rationale as to why this market is key to a successful launch. 

The Research:

We completed secondary research on the hospitality and traveling industry. Through our research we found there has been an increase of beleisure, where over 80% of business trips consisted of extra time spent for leisure. We decided to take this insight and create Beleisure by Airbnb.
